Tottenham Hotspur fans were left surprised as they witnessed their record signing, Tanguy Ndombele, encountering difficulties at Galatasaray.

Back in 2019, the 27-year-old Frenchman made headlines by becoming the club's record signing, with Tottenham spending a substantial £65 million to acquire him from Lyon. Despite an initially promising start with the club, the midfielder eventually lost his place in the starting lineup, gradually slipping down the team hierarchy. Following spells on loan to Lyon and Napoli, he was subsequently loaned to Turkish giants Galatasaray this summer.

Unfortunately, his time in Turkey hasn't proven to be much smoother, as earlier reports from the country suggested concerns about his weight, with claims that he was 6 kilograms overweight. A video circulating on social media, revealing him looking less fit than his North London days, left Spurs supporters in disbelief, questioning if it was indeed the same player.
